Free Hugs, Anyone?!

Free Hugs seems to be very popular in Seoul. I became aware of this free hug campaign when I saw the music video of Super Junior, "Happiness." Free Hugs are meant to be Random Acts of Kindness, which are selfless acts performed just to make others feel happy. When I went to Seoul last April, I actually experienced this Free Hug craze. And no, it wasn't with Super Junior but it was with some random nice korean girls. Lol. Anyway, those 4 nice girls are standing under the cold weather in the middle of the busy streets of Myeong-Dong holding a huge sign that says "FREE HUG." I was actually excited to give them a hug because it was my first time to experience this so called "free hug" from a total complete stranger. And yeah, the feeling was nice. ☺

Blah Blahs: Hair Disaster

My natural hair color is black. And guess what, I hate it!! Everyone seems to like to have a beautiful soft shiny black hair! But I'm not one of those girls. Anyway, I started to dye my hair last year. And it seems like every month, I've got a new hair color. The reason why I'm dying my hair (aside from the fact that I hate my natural hair color) is because I'm bored and I always want to try something new. Thus, I dyed my hair burgundy, copper, orange, blonde, brown, etc. Yes, I know that it's bad for my hair. So last January, I actually made a new year's resolution that I will stop dying my hair. I even posted it on 43things.com Lol. Anyway, I cannot just stop myself from dying my hair. So what I did was to limit myself in dying my hair. Instead of every month, I made it to every 4 months. The last time that I dyed my hair was last February, and it was a disaster!!! It's supposed to be copper but the result was reddish pink. I look like Strawberry Shortcake. So the next day, I immediately went to the salon to fix my hair. The senior stylist told me that she wants to dye my hair ash brown because it suits my skin tone. And poof, my hair was back to normal. And I happen to like my new hair color (ash brown), so I didn't dye my hair again... until today! 

Yes, after 4 months, I dyed my hair again because my hair is growing to fast and my black roots are now visible. And guess what, it was a disaster.. again!! I mean, it's supposed to be light brown not dark brown! Now, my hair is too dark it's almost black! Boohoo! ☹

Is it true that Lemon Juice can lighten your hair? Hhmmm, I need to go to the grocery store to buy one, and to test it on my hair. Geesh, whatta guinea pig. Lol.

Blah Blahs: Do Not Disturb -- "I'm sleeping!!"

I am a nocturnal person which means I'm usually awake at night because it seems like my brain is active during night time, so yeah, I have trouble sleeping at night. Damn you insomnia!! Lol. 

However, even though I have trouble sleeping at night, it seems like I didn't have any problem sleeping during the day. And you know what the weird part is, the sun always makes me sleepy. I mean, everytime I look at the sun shining so brightly, I yawn and think of my bed. Lol. In fact, I spent most of my days sleeping. Oh yeah, I just love to sleep... during day time! Lol.

Anyway, I tried to sleep early last night to somewhat fix my sleeping schedule. I think I slept at around 1am. So today, I woke up at exactly 7:01 am because of an unwanted noise. I woke up by the sound of a hammer!! I really hate that hammering sound, it's even worser than the sound of my alarm clock. Anyway, that unwanted noise came from my neighbor's house. And guess what, he is renovating his house in the early freakin' morning. Oh jeez, can you do it when I'm not sleeping! Give me a break!

I wanted to go to Seoul since 2004, but I was too busy with school (yup, you read it right, "school") that I didn't have the chance to go there. Anyway, now that I'm done with school, and I'm not really that busy, I finally decided that this is the best time to go to Seoul, because I wanted to celebrate my birthday there.

So yeah, I went backpacking to Seoul last April 16-21, and it was the best pre-birthday gift ever. (My birthday is on the 23rd by the way)

Standing in line for almost 4 hours under the hot scorching sun just to see Super Junior is worth it!! The line was so effin' long, and there were so many people, I almost got scared because there's a probability that there might be a stampede. Luckily, nothing bad happened. Anyway, when we got inside the Big Dome, I feel like I was a 12 year old fangirl who is super duper excited to see her idols. Hey, I was even wearing a sapphire blue colored shirt. Lol. Fortunately, we got good seats, and I was able to see them clearly. OMG!!  I spent the whole night screaming and dancing like a crazy lunatic. Lol. They are ssooo good looking (hands down)!! Anyway, I was lmao so hard because they kept on doing funny and crazy stuffs. Omg, they're ssooo freakinly hilarious, that's why I love them ssooo much!! It was the best night ever!!  ☺
